Augustina Liu is an award-winning User Experience and Product Designer. As a Senior Product Designer at Toast—one of the leading POS systems in the US—she is transforming the customer experience within the retail sector. Augustina is passionate about making technology both empowering and accessible, which drives her commitment to creating inclusive designs that serve users of all backgrounds and abilities. She founded the IDEATe Institute of Design, Engineering, Art, and Technology, a community where enthusiasts from these fields come together to create meaningful impacts on the world. Augustina's outstanding work has received recognition from 20 prestigious awards, including Red Dot Design Awards, iF Awards, etc. Augustina also serves as a jury member for seven esteemed international design awards, such as the Davey Awards. To give back to the design community, she dedicates her time as a mentor, speaker, and panelist for events hosted by renowned institutions and organizations.
