Revolutionizing Design Systems: Practical Solutions for Scalability, Efficiency and Inclusivity

Together with a small team, we transformed a fragmented and outdated set of components into a living, structured, and scalable design system that's easy to use for both designers and developers.

In this talk, I’ll share practical approaches that helped us bring order to the chaos — from component statuses and a design system changelog to a Telegram channel for updates and a custom tech debt metric. I’ll talk about building processes without a dedicated team, simplifying collaboration, and increasing the system’s value for the product.

This will be useful for anyone working with design systems who wants to make them clearer, more stable, and more effective.
